There are two commuter airlines that fly from San Jose to Palmar Sur, Sansa and Nature Air. It is recommended to make reservations in advance, check their web sites for times and prices.
By Bus
There are a few bus lines that leave from San Jose to the Pacific coast. The following website has schedule for some of the routes. Bus Schedule of Costa Rica Always check times before departing for your destination as schedules may change.
Private Shuttles
There are also some private shuttles that run to all parts of Costa Rica. They can be found in the Tico Times or the Paginas Amarillas.
Easy Ride has service from the Central Valley to Ojochal. Extreme Costa Rica Tours also offers service from San Jose to Ojochal. There are a number of major international rent-a-car agencies that have vehicles available at the airport or conveniently located through out San Jose.
